Apollo 17 - The Untold Story of the Last Men on the Moon
In the past Elliander Pictures has worked closely on various projects with Free Spirit Film & TV, and 2010 was no different. In the fourth quarter, the two companies paired up to produce an hour long, one off TV special about Man's final mission to the Moon.

The Untold Story of Apollo 17 has so far been broadcast in over 15 countries around the world and has been acquired by programming giants; Discovery Channel, PBS, Canal+ and RAI. We have just completed 3 more hours of TV content with 13 Factors That Saved Apollo 13 and The Saturn V Story and are currently producing a one hour special, Apollo Astronauts: Training NASAs Moon Men.

"The World know's how the Apollo program began, but few truly know how it ended"

Astronauts Eugene Cernan, Harrison Schmitt and Ronald Evans were the three brave men chosen to fly NASA's final mission. They have been written up in history books and acknowledged by the space and scientific communities, but have never received the public recognition they truly deserved. Apollo 17's voyage to the moon was the crowning glory of man's lunar exploration. This documentary features spectacular NASA footage and exclusive interviews with space scientists who worked on the Apollo program during the 60's and 70's. This is the remarkable story of the determination and courage of a generation. A tribute to three brave astronauts and the thousands of men and women behind them during the final days of NASA's Apollo program.

Both Elliander Pictures and Free Spirit Film & TV would like to thank all contributors who made the project possible.
